Shakti
Chionis brings radiant joy and sensitivity to help guide
others in personal transformation and offers her services
in devotion and gratitude to the well being of the planet.
As a Reiki Master her touch is both healing and gentle,
and with the intuition born of devotion, she will restore
your body to its natural balance. As an intuitive healer
she blends techniques of Reiki, vibrational sound therapy
and body dialoging, which effectively treat both the symptoms
and the causes of imbalance. Shakti has been practicing
Reiki for 5 years, yet her desire to help others has been
a part of her life for as long as she can remember.
In addition to her transformational work, Shakti
also welcomes the opportunity to work with people
to achieve vigorous, healthy, lifestyles through the
medicinal and restorative values of organic whole
foods. A firm believer that nutrition is a weak link
in preventative medicine, the food which sustains
us, she believes, should be an artistic endeavor,
tasting as good as it looks. While still in Chicago,
she was a winner of a Vegetarian Times magazine recipe
contest. As a pastry chef in both Chicago and Seattle,
she has transformed guilt into delight by creating
healthy, decadent desserts. When the opportunity arises
she cooks for retreats and teaches classes. Her menu
is simple and elegant, highlighted by her specialty,
vegan desserts.
Her other love and creative outlet is gardening. She focuses
on her organic vegetable garden (year round) as well as
any herb/flower gardening as well. She enjoys being just
as creative with making recipes out of the herb garden for
bath and facial products, which she will pleasantly pass
on through this web site.
Needless to say she has plenty to do, and she does it with
an open heart and the motivation to be of benefit to all.
